Spring awakening
Have you ever been thinking about spending some spring days on Iceland? Come and enjoy!
This is the time of new lambs and first foals. Bright summer nights and long days allow for long rides. Our daily life now changes with nature’s reawakening. The stud is driven to big grazing areas; lambs are marked and will be guided with their mothers into the mountains. Fields are getting green again and birds sing all day and night.
Enjoy the spring awakening and be welcome to help training our riding horses after their long winter break. We go for longer and shorter riding tours. A one day sightseeing tour through Skagafjörður completes your holidays.
Included
Daily riding depending on weather conditions, sightseeing program
Accommodation on Lýtingsstaðir
Full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Transfers from/to the nearest bus station (Varmahlið) or airport (Sauðárkrókur) to Lýtingsstaðir
Please bring
Riding helmet, windbreaker, warm clothes and warm boots, woollen socks

It is advisable to have your own personal insurance when joining the riding tour
Your riding clothes and boots must be disinfected before you arrive.
Riding experience is not necessary for this program.
